We are proud to have one of the most modern plants in the world for the production of opiates, in accordance with the most demanding GMP quality standards.

Poppy straw rich in alkaloids is harvested and transported to Alcaliber ‘s Industrial Plant for extraction, purification and preparation of narcotic raw materials and API’s.

Toledo’s chemical plant

Our plant is exclusively devoted to the production of alkaloids from Narcotic Raw Material. It has been equipped with the best technologies available from a processing point of view (technologies with low solvent consumption ratios, etc.) and environmental point of view (ultra-filtration systems for water purification, volatile recovery, reduced rates of waste production, recyclables, etc.).

At the end of 2014, Alcaliber opened a new extraction unit featuring the latest technology that increases overall production capacity by 50%.
